MSAC members participate in local and statewide coalitions around various issues, ballot initiatives or otherwise. A campaign must be voted on by the State Board before MSAC can officially endorse and dedicate resources.

Currently, we are joining the effort to increase the individual income tax on people earning more than $1 million in Massachusetts, in order to generate more revenue for infrastructure, transportation, and public education, and to build a more progressive tax system. In August 2015, MSAC President Barbara Mann, along with several other leaders from community, labor, and faith-based groups, officially signed on to the initial petition. Read more about the campaign below:
