corporations have been given excessive protections in this country. corporations are not people and money is not speech. we will fight to ensure that the well-being of people should come before corporate profit.

Our campaigns and victories

  • In 2010, we hosted a 3,500-person rally in Boston to stop the Super Committee cuts to Social Security.

  • We will always fight to protect any corporate attacks on our cornerstones: Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. These important programs should be expanded, not cut, and we cannot turn them over to Wall St.

  • We support the Fair Share Amendment to make sure corporations and the wealthy pay their fair share of state taxes by creating a more progressive tax system in Massachusetts.
